NOTES     
Charles Grymes (of Morattico Hall - Richmond County) was Sheriff for that county and a member of Council in 1724-1725
He married Frances; daughter of Edmund Jennings; acting Governor of the Colony from1706-1710; and sister of Elizabeth; second wife of Robert Porteus.
Charles Grymes and Frances had two daughters; - Frances and Lucy.  Lucy married Henry Lee and had a son "Light Horse Harry" Lee - and he was the son of Confederate General Robert E Lee; who was fifth in descent from Sarah Warner.
